She is known in social media circles as the “social media rat” because of her love for social media and how she has over the years used that medium as an effective communications tool – personally and professionally.
She believes that corporate governance opened her eyes to a new side of communication as it deepened her understanding of how organizations are run and how communications can be used as an effective tool for business success and impacting lives positively.
Akosua is a graduate of the Ghana Institute of Journalism, where she pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies specializing in Public Relations. She also holds a Master of Business Administration in Corporate Governance from the University of Professional Studies, where she graduated as the Best Graduating Corporate Governance student in 2014.

In her spare time, she loves to watch investigative movies as it helps sharpen her analytical skills; a skill she believe is essential in the development of communication strategies.
